Southampton 6-3 Manchester United: 26th October 1996........ but United win the league

Newcastle United 5-0 Manchester United: 20th October 1996... but United win the league

Manchester United 1-4 Liverpool: 14th March 2009............ but United win the league

Chelsea 5-0 Manchester United: October 3rd, 1999 ............but United win the league

Tottenham Hotspurs 4-1 Manchester United, 1st January 1996 ..but United win the league

Completely meaningless drivel, the last time City put 5 or more on Manure Liverpool won the league. Are you predicting this then :mrgreen: Still I suppose you need to try to deflect from such a total and utter hammering at the hands of the one time noisy neighbours who can now outbuy and outplay your lot, priceless.

I think City are getting overrated. At their best, the best team in the league. But didn't Everton and someone else beat them in the last 2 games of last season? 2 forwards won't change that. When they lose one, they will go down hill. Or maybe not, but I think they will.

City can put 6 past United with the players they have bought PJ......

 

Unfortunately, there isn't enough money in the world to pay for the latter miracle!:D
