harry hayes Posted November 15, 2011 Report Share Posted November 15, 2011 Not sure I fully agree with the "Warrington is being destroyed argument" but I though a light hearted look at some of the little things which have gone, would not go amiss. I would bring back the glorious smell from Carters cafe in Bridge street which almost knocked you down as you went down the entry, particularly at the time of rationing.
