observer
Should they allow subs on for players that have been "sent off"?
asperity
That would open a whole can of worms Obs, and I don't think it would be a god idea.
inky pete
No, otherwise you could get players intentionally getting red cards to allow their manager to put on a striker in place of a defender when he's already used all his subs. Suspensions as a result of red cards should also be served when the two clubs next meet, rather than next week when the offending team might have to field a weakened side against the bitterest rivals of the team who have been offended against. asperity
Not to mention the possibility of having a "hard man" take out the opposition's danger man by a crippling foul. The "hard man" gets sent off but the manager can replace him with a player of his choice.

asperity
I want to know what Asp means by a "god idea" And thinking about it LtKije, perhaps if you took a bit of care about the spelling and grammar in your own posts you would earn the right to criticize ONE typo in one of mine!
disgusted
It was a question Fats, not a suggestion - and the experts have answered. As this is not something that currently happens, then posing a question about a hypothetical change is therefore also a suggestion.
