safeway56
If I remember correctly AJ Murphy has been employed in a similar capacity some years ago. Good move though..to have on-board the greatest RL player who ever lived. Always first on the team-sheet of the dream team picked by old time players. They all hated him when they played against him but now recognise him as their secret hero. He's a once in a lifetime player of whom we'll never see the likes of again. He'd run rings around them all in the modern game.
Sheila_P
For personal reasons, I think this is an awful appointment. Yes, he was a talented player but I'd like more than that from an ambassador.
safeway56
I think I know what you mean(nudge nudge wink wink)...He's been a bit of a Jack The Lad off the field but nobody comes close as a great player. Everybody wants to talk to him and he'll be a big draw for sponsors.
