safeway56
Myler and Atkins are top notch signings. Solomona is at the back end of his career but used sparingly could do a good job for a couple of seasons, no transfer fee involved and not too great a wedge in salary so not much of a gamble to take. Could pay off. It will be interesting to see who is cleared out to make room under the salary cap. Johnson and Rauhihi seem to be certainties but who else could be on their bike ? Wirewire
Pickersgill - rumoured to have signed a 3 year deal with Widnes. Carney???
Gary
Rauhihi retiring, Johnson to Wakefield, Pickersgill three year deal at Widnes. Take into account Reardon was off loaded mid season and Gleeson was swapped for Mathers, it all fits nice in the salary cap for next year. Wirewire
We look light on props for next year with only Morley, Carvell, Woody and Coops. Do we have anyone else lined up as cover for these?

Do we have anyone else lined up as cover for these? Er .. what about our new signing David Solomona and the best up and coming Prop in the game Ben Harrison!! We also have Adam Neal coming through the ranks who has just been voted Player of the Year for the Reserve Grade and is a great prospect. Tyrone McCarthy won the award last year and look what he has achieved already!

Westwood might be the best option - he's played there before for us with some success. Maybe he'll run with 4 specialist props this season and fill the void with any of the players mentioned above as and when required.

While Solomona has played second row now with advancing years I am sure he will fill in at prop as an impact player. While Harrison has been in at loose forward I see his future as a Prop as he matures.

I think you could be right Gary - in any event, I have the utmost faith in TS so I'm sure he's planned everything out.

Two props in the starting line-up and two more on the bench. How many more props are you suggesting the team needs ?

With injuries (like Wood's broken leg, Rah's back etc.) it's always good to have cover if any of the 4 get injured. I don't see that we have any "specialist" cover in that area, albeit others can fill the void if required.
