observer
Is seeking assylum in the UK easier, if you own a Football Club?!
Legion
It can't hurt... I don't know how supporters can get behind their local teams who have foriegn money, foreign owners, foreign managers and foreign players. and sponsorship revenue from some foreign company. although it would seem being fairly local will get you captaincy if your a player... I suppose thats a token gesture. just shows the beautiful game is now the beautiful product. if I had my way, you would have to come from the town/city you represent to be associated with it in any capacity, that would bring an end to the stupid salaries, obscene ticket prices. and if your team dont win anything then thats the true reflection of your towns ability...not your owners bank balance. observer
Totally agree Lege: but I find it amusing that Man City's Patron "doesn't trust the Courts in Thailand"; perhaps they'll find him guilty?!
the_nana_jackson
Totally agree Lege: but I find it amusing that Man City's Patron "doesn't trust the Courts in Thailand"; perhaps they'll find him guilty?! Thank you for the enlightenment .. I'd wondered who was the subject of these diatribles .. I HAD suspected it was perhaps Liverpool!
Evil Sid
what a disappointment i got reading the post. the header looked so interesting and i was thinking that it would be about the house of lords then found found it was political assylum and not the other kind
observer
Think the topic was alluding to the likes of "pay no Tax in Shinawatra" who dabbled with Man City.
