At a time of a multiplicity of issues affecting the ordinary people of Britain, we have lefty woke MPs wasting Parliamentary time on "calling for a ceasefire in Gaza".  What our Gov or Parliament think or say will have zero impact on the determination for vengence by the Israelis, who have a history of doing what they want, without reference to foreign opinion.   So why did our MPs waste time on this ?   Well the answer could be found outside Parliament, where Muslim demonstrators assembled to bully MPs into voting for a ceasefire. Various actions like climbing on war memorials and absenting children from schools, were commited by Muslims, without any action being taken by the legal authorities. Indeed, the Met Chief declared that no law exists to arrest those climbing over war memorials (a clear lie), when in the past, eco-protesters have been arrested for the same thing, thus demonstrating the woke double standards of our current Police Forces. Thanks to uncontrolled and unvetted immigration over past decades, we now have over six million Muslims in the UK, dictating the politics of our Country, this can only get worse. 😠

I think you are only partially correct. The problematical amendment to the humble Address was tabled by the SNP, almost certainly just to cause trouble as is their wont.

I did an analysis of the Labour MPs who voted for that amendment and 60% of them had more than 10% of the population in their constituency for whom virtue signalling was an electoral necessity for the self preservation of the MPs job! This is an effect called communalism and a certain speech in Birmingham back in 1968 warned of its dangers to almost total disapprobation.
