He's never been one for not voicing an opinion on political issues, but his latest opinion on the Rwanda Plan to off shore illegal migrants seems to put him at odds with the vast majority of his subjects. Add to this the antics of Randy Andy and his arrogant insistance on being restored to his HRH position and we have a recipe for the demise of this disfunctional family. Plus we have Harry and Me'again wanting to trade their Royal lineage for a Celeb lifestyle, and we get a particularly precarious cocktail for the future of the Monarchy. Whilst on balance, I support a constitutional monarchy, on the grounds that a politician as head of state would be even worse; there is clearly a need imo, for our Monarchy to be radically scaled down to something resembling the Scandanavian model. According to research by Tony Robinson, the line of succession is illegitimate in any event due to the allegation that Edward IV was illegitimate, and that the true heir is Michael Hastings an Australian ! 😉 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
