Is the PC dream of cultural diversity, with different ethnic and religious groups, wearing different dress, pursuing different customs, in their own separate cultural silos, being appeased by Governments, finally coming to an end ? In France, they've had "burkini" bans, in Germany calls at the highest levels, for a ban on the burker. In Cheshire however, we still have the nonsense of a Jewish group applying to mark a religious boundary with special posts. Elsewhere, a Muslim train driver involved in an accident, hadn't eaten for 15 hours, due to Ramadan restrictions. So is it time to call it a day on this nonsense and pursue secular policies in the public space ?

All this diversity is fine as long as the status quo of the host nation is respected & the laws of the land . It is wrong for religions to come in & expect to takeover as the religion of the UK, but our long & bloody history has taught us that tolerance is best ,provided no one takes the michael.

Unfortunately, "multi-culturalism" translates into segregation and division in reality, and sets the stage for future conflict. We've seen in Ulster how separation of the education system along sectarian lines, and where aggravated by customs that originated in an age of ignorance, have led.
