Bill Posted January 9, 2015 Report Share Posted January 9, 2015 There was a bad accident today (about 11 am) involving what looked like two cars at the crossing just opposite James Lee House. The police blocked off the road while ambulance and fire engines attended to the situation. When I returned later, the badly damaged cars were still being recovered, one of which had had it's roof cut off. I hope nobody was too seriously injured. Dizzy Posted January 9, 2015 Report Share Posted January 9, 2015 Apparently was a crash between a car and a HGV and a lady had to be cut from her car but her injuries are not though to be life threatening.Second accident of the day as a chap got knocked over on Wilson Patten Street too just before 9am (see front page news update on here) and some reports say he has serious head injuries.
