The spaghetti snapping trick can be more practically done with a piece of paper, I use the size of a banknote, or say a Morrisons receipt. One third from the left, tear the paper 2/3 the way DOWN, and on the right 2'3 the way UP. It looks so easy to tear it into three with one pull, but it is impossible.
