observer
Just caught the end of "An Officer and a Gentleman"; where Richard Gere enters the paper factory and sweeps Debra Winger off her feet, carrying her away to the song "Love lifts me up ..." observer
John Wayne's one line cameo in "King of Kings (?), playing a Roman Centurian at the Crucifixion - (in his usual drawl) "Surely this man was the son of God" ..... !!!! The eccentric air-cavalry commander in "Apocalypse Now" .. " I love the smell of napalm in the morning" ...! and the classic - Rett Butler parting from Scarlett O'Hara at the end of "Gone with the wind" ... "Oh Rett, what am I going to do?" ... "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" !
