observer
Baz, been trying to say that throughout - and the only way to correct it, is to reverse the financial equation to fill up Town Centres again.
asperity
No you haven't Obs, you've been moaning about out of town shopping centres not internet shopping.
observer
Yes I have Asp: the deterent to the T/C high street is high charges - land values, rates etc. By tranfering these costs to out of Town sites and cross subsidising T/C sites, the process can be reversed. Coffee
Hi to everyone. My grandparents owned a local green grocers shop in Warrington and were forced out of business not by Tescos but by high rates that would go up two or three times the rate of inflation year after year. This was late 90s but a local DIY shop shut recently for the same reason, so times have not changed.
