As a person who doesn't have to drive back and forth to work it is easy for me to argue that way, but still feel that the increase should still go ahead in order to save taxing elsewhere. So people will buy less fuel, and also less food, both of which bring in revenue. Not forgetting the increase in gas and electricity.
