But surely google will reduce the need for knowledgeable discussions the likes of which take place on here.

... and now we have the expected attempt to rig the vote, by extending the deadline to register. Having had months to do it, seems the air heads crashed the system, trying to do it last minute.

I suspect these people have same mentality as the people who turn up at Tesco's at 3 55 pm on a Sunday & expect to do a full shop.

It crashed for two hours and only two hours and yet they are extending it until thursday night. Now regardless how the people registering are intending to vote, surely they should just open again for two hours? We have these rules in place for a reason and if someone leaves it until the absolute last second (they reckon there were 26,000 people trying to register in the last hour or so....

If they intend to move goalposts, why not just allow people to register up until the day before?

I would just have said "sorry, should have done it earlier" but the remain camp were "Demanding" it be opened again

and the day before it came out that the Trumpeteers were using a very snide method involving paying Google ( oh the irony) so that their page came up first on any search regarding registering to vote.  Problem being when you filled in your details and clicked register to vote guess what?  You didn't register to vote at all, the Quitters simply harvested all your details.  And they have the audacity to go on about democracy.

Quite simply: registration closed at midnight on Tuesday; the young air heads were being corralled into registering cos it's believed they'll vote Remain; so the Gov have extended it to allow these clueless people in. As for unofficial or bogus registration sites, they should have the IQ to find the official site, which evidently they did, when it was too late; having had months to do so - no sympathy whatsoever. Still it's going as expected - if the Gov can't manipulate a win - who can ? !

I'm surprised a media circus has not been planned for polling day with Ant & Dec urging people to phone in at premium rates with their votes & young girls in the audience screaming every time a Brexit truth is dissed by a remainer. Syco tv could make a fortune.

I can smell your fear .  Surely the more folk who vote the more democratic the result.  As for your bunch of deceitful and lying toe rags in the scarper campaign,  why did they try to mislead the electorate?  Who the hell are you to decide that people trying to register to vote within the time allowed are airheads, they found the official site in time despite the filthy tricks and obstacles put in place and paid for by the Trumpeteer liars.  You are blaming the victims of a con job for the crime,  what a principled bunch of cheats you are.

No fear, I guessed the result a long time ago.  8)

It's septic Meg!!!!

I note the obligatory swerve when faced with something not quite supportive of your drivel.

 I've said all along what I think the result will be, check out the posts. I realise you have difficulty in working out the probabilities of the future, that's why your in the Remain camp.

It's septic Meg, again!!!  I prefer a future based on fact not blind speculation based in no small part upon your nationalistic tendencies..  If you know the result, why all the posturing?  Why are you going to vote?  Are you simply a bit puddled?

Well there's an oxymoron " a future based on fact";   the only facts are about the past and the present, thus this whole debate has been a case of speculation. Based on past and present performance, anyone with a grain of sense would vote leave; unfortunately sense isn't that common.

Given you a load in these posts, you just choose to ignore them: but for the record:-  The EU is:-  Undemocratic: The Commissioners, with executive powers are appointed, not elected by the people; appointed by the Council of Ministers from politicians from each State, so quite a good retirement plan, enjoyed by such wonders as Niell Kinnock in the past.  Corrupt: The accounts haven't been signed off by the auditors for over a decade, due to discrepencies that don't get answered.  Wastefull:  Aside from such things as the CAP designed to prop up inefficient French farmers, we have another French injection, the monthly movement of the whole EU Parliament from Brussels to Strasbourg and back. Incompetant: As we've seen, the whole migrant shambles was brought about by the ignoring of original EU policy (the Dublin Convention), whereby migrants would apply for asylum in the first EU State they reached.  Italy and Greece totally failed in this responsibility and waved them through, thus the policy failed at the first hurdle, by their unilateral action. Then Mutti Merkel unilaterally invited this exodus into Germany, without any knowledge whatsoever as to their refugee or otherwise status.  Then all the States along the route, in the Shengen (no borders zone) naturally looked to their own interests and erected border fences and controls. So not a unified or coherent response by the EU, by any means.  Now, the EU (led by Germany) is negotiating a deal with Turkey to restrict passage of migrants to Greece, at a price of £6billion and the right of visa free access to the EU by their nationals.  As a continuation of this Dane Geld approach; the EU is currently negotiating for similar deals with African States - at a price to the EU tax-payers, thus submitting itself to blackmail.

There seems to be a naive belief with the remain camp that the immigrants who would love to enter the UK are all fully trained for the skills we so called need for our country's prosperity. I wonder what percentage are only suitable for low end employment, & how many just to claim benefit ,& how many are just criminals. Without screening, once these people have entered the UK it will be very difficult to get them out again. Cameron's pie in the sky promises about this agreement & that veto look very empty & mere speculation in the hope it will get his Europhile gang past the winning post.

They haven't a clue as to the ultimate extent of the migrant problem - it won't stop. It is now the default position of anyone in the world to "seek a better life"; whether invited or not - so the crisis will deepen. The only way to challenge it is a rigorous repatriation policy, sort of real life snakes and ladders; if caught, they go back to go.

and you do?  and all this info is in your head, not researched or studied, just a gut feeling and a few guesses.  Remind me again, why aren't you running the world?  Overqualified??

  At least I live in the real world, taking note of information as it's broadcast on TV (even the luvvie BBC & ch4),  You clearly haven't got a clue, seeing your Wendy House world through your dogmatic lens;  totally refuting basic realities -  if population rises, demands on services rise, and the money required to provide services is going down - not up. We've got cash strapped Councils being asked to provide more housing, more infrastructure, more school places to meet rising demand, likewise the NHS. This will continue as long as uncontrolled migration (which is what you luvvies want) continues.     btw: it seems the PM agrees we need to build a new house every 7 minutes to keep up with demand.
