asperity
I would liketo see some evidence of that assertion and the assertion that Norway cannot opt out of anything. The only say the UK had in the formulation of the directive was our 8% part of the EU delegation as compared to Norway's 100% share of their own. The working time directive is the EU putting into law the regulations formulated by a global committee (ie not just the EU) under the direction of the ILO. Norway was at the table in its own right, not just as a tiny minority bit player. The picture is a whole lot bigger than you imagine Lt Kije, and the EU is becoming a bureaucratic backwater in the greater scheme of things. The reason why the USA wants us to be part of the EU is so that they have us in the same corral as the rest of Europe and easier to control, not for the good of our health. observer
Kije ignores Bulgaria and the rest of the spongers, that outvote us in the EU Commission.
