safeway60 Posted October 5, 2012 Report Share Posted October 5, 2012 My earliest memory of Benny wasn't at Wilderspool but at Wigan...He was playing in the position he was signed for,centre. He was presented with an interception(more by accident than anything else) He was well clear and seemed certain to score but he was easily caught. Oh no I thought another donkey we've managed to unearth..I could have ran down from the back of the stand and caught him myself. I never thought at that time he would develop to one of the finest back row forwards we've ever had...Good luck to Benny for his testimonial efforts....Hope he makes himself a mint.
