Dizzy
Fair play to the Creamfields organisers as they ARE actually giving people refunds and not just the ones with Sunday tickets either. Don't think they had much choice really as they were getting a bit of a bashing on social network sites which could have ruined their reputation. There will be a FULL automatic refund (back onto credit/debit cards etc) for Sunday ticket holders and all the 2/3 day campers get a 50% refund too. Must be costing them a fortune unless they have insurance to cover it of course. Could be some who are still not happy though as the tickets have to have been scanned on entry so anyone with a two day camping ticket who arrived too late to get in on Saturday night and who weren't allowed in on Sunday morning don;t get anything as theirs weren't scanned..... ... and also anyone who bought tickets from places other than Creams authorised 12 selling agents won't get any refund... but the person they bought them off will so a nice little earner for the 'resellers'. I wonder how many of them will actually pass on the refunds that appear in their banks to the people the actually sold them too... not many probably
Dizzy
- anybody's guess how much Creamfields pay the landowners from the event turnover of some £5million++ ?? No idea but my guess would be that it must be in the thousands. Maybe £20k for the bigger fields ?? Dunno really......
