Ministerial Code?

Hate to say it, But boy Millipede appears absolutely correct on the Hunt case. When the Ministerial Code was introduced, a "proper officer" was appointed to investigate alleged breaches, precisely to see if there was a case to answer or not. The PM is clearly using the Levenson Inquiry as a smokescreen to prevaricate over the matter: Levenson is an Inquiry into the whole gambit of relations between Press- Politicians and Police, and not specific cases. So it does appear that the PM is using Hunt as a firewall, to shield himself in this matter.

Levenson spotted the obvious question to ask Hunt: if Vince Cable had had the B-Sky B decision taken off him on the grounds that he was allegedly biased against the Murdoch bid; then why was Hunt given the job, when he was allegedly biased in favour of their bid? Could it be, that Dave wanted to get the Murdoch bid approved?
