observer
Seems lots of us either can't get on a Dentist's list or can't afford Dental Treatment anyway. Also, increasing numbers of folk arn't taking up Doctor's prescriptions, because they can't afford it. Can you? [ 27.02.2008, 13:19: Message edited by: observer ]
Mary
Funny you should bring this subject up Observer - I am online early today because I just spent an hour in the dentist chair and after the Dental Insurance coverage I still paid $285( 142 pounds). I am also on the slate for next week and almost the same cost!!

little fella
There are new plans by our wonderful PCT for the dental treatment you get. The new plan is that your check up will be free on the NHS and that is it...... If you want / need any treatment after that like extractions or fillings you will have to pay private. There does not seem to be any emergency excuse for none payment, if you are on benefits you have to pay and then claim it back. The answer is to get your teeth done free whilst you are on holiday.
