Gary Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 need to establish a strong fanbase and i recommend filming matches and putting highlights on the website or live stream if possible Matches are being filmed now - so half ay there! Quote
Aaron Posted March 19, 2011 Author Report Posted March 19, 2011 yeah but if we put highlights on the website or try to stream the matches then more people have access and we would establish a great fan base Quote
WireWarrior97 Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Do we have that goal on Saturday on film? (The Halfway line one, I mean) I would like to watch it again. Quote
Furious Town Boys Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 It would be great to publish the goals on YouTube and the official website, I am sure the film crew can edit short videos to upload on the official website and the supporters very own YouTube account, plus it is very easy to then publish these videos on Facebook for added viewing hits and awareness for the club Quote
Peter T Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Who is doing the filming, WHY and why can't we see them? Quote
Gary Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Who is doing the filming, WHY and why can't we see them? The films are being done for training purposes - and Joey doesn't want them going on line because he doesn't want others to be able to see how we play in advance. But I am sure we will have a end of season highlights video produced from some of the action - but like anything else it takes time. Those doing the filming are doing it in their own time FOC so difficult to make demands on what they can and can not produce. Quote
WireWarrior97 Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 I reckon that we should at least get end of season highlights, like Gary said. Club makes money, and we can prove that there have been more goals from the halfway line in the ESD1N than the Prem this season. Quote

WireWarrior97 Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Can't we at least shove the screamers on Youtube? Never Gonna happen, since we haven't been able to shoot for toffee recently. Unless they are headers. Can a header be a screamer? Quote
Furious Town Boys Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Certainly be good to put a few of the goals on YouTube Can anyone ask the people who film it to cut down the match recordings and send over the files to be uploaded on YouTube? Quote
tg Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 To avoid other clubs seeing film perhaps full highlights could only be available on a subscription only basis via the supporters club so only genuine supporters can see the footage? AMaybe the club could charge a small amount per year for an Internet season ticket as a way to make extra revenue Passwords could be obtained directly from wtfc so we can ensure that they don't fall into other clubs hands Quote
