Peter T
A Time Machine would be very useful to see the changes over the ages.
Dizzy
Lovely old photo Algy How Bedford Street has changed eh? Some of the houses in your photo are still there though and here's a photo of the plaque I took a couple of weeks ago when I was strolling aound testing my new camera. I'd never noticed it before and so if nothing more my new camera has made me a lot more aware of my surroundings. Having just had a look on google earths image of 'todays' street the plaque is on the houses on the top left of your photo.
algy
Good photo Dizz, zoomed in great. My mum & dad lived opposite at No.26. Peter a time machine would be ideal but only if I could be an invisible observer I dont think the folk of that era would take kindly to us in either our dress, dialect or attitude. algy
I think they bought the house in 1963 but mum died in 1964 she was only 49, dad lived there until he passed away in 1984.
