A cup final would be great to look forward too, but whatever happens the league is still the main priority for this season

Woody
Despite losing 2-1 proud of the performance tonight, against a higher league side, thought the sending off of Sam Finley was the turning point of the game, for what looked form my viewpoint a perfectly good challenge. Fancied us to go on and win it. both sides saw a penalty saved, so it was a game full of incident. Full match report to follow

Furious Town Boys
Cheated out the game by a pathetic ref and diving, fake and soft footballers....sounds a bit like premiership football!!! Lets hope that the way the game is played by 'so called superstars' is not being filtered through to our level as what was shown by the Northwich players tonight
Long John
It is not often that I leave a football match feeling cheated, but last night was one of them. Whitby last year also springs to mind. Loosing to a better team, being unlucky, or playing badly should all be part of the game, but to have a match taken from your team by match officials is difficult to take. All we can ask of officials is that they are consistent, unfortunately last night that did not happen. Any neutral reading this will feel it is just sour grapes, but the result last night was down to one man. There were several decisions last night that were inexplicable. The booking of Gavin Salmon for a 50/50 challenge on the keeper was down to the reaction of the keeper, he went down like he had been shot, but got up quick enough when he thought Gavin wasn?t going to be booked and gave the referee a mouthful. In the latter stages of the game a two footed tackle by a Northwich player on the edge of the box ended with a free kick to Northwich. At every corner town players were taken out in the box, on one occasion a town player nearly lost his shirt as the defender held on to him, and it was only 10 yards in front of the referee. I can?t comment on San?s sending off as it was on the other side of the pitch, but from the evidence of the bench?s and the Town players reaction it seemed a bit harsh, and no worse than some of the other challenges by both sides that had occurred during the match. All in all it was a good game between two well match sides, the only difference being the man with the whistle !!

Daymo
Sam has said it was a perfectly clean challenge and he rose he with ball at his own feet. If he didn't get the ball then the ball would of carried on moving away from both players on the floor.
Daymo
Just took a look on the Northwich forum and apparently they believe the Warrington players were very dirty, and got away with a lot of stuff. On the other hand one member did state that their penalty should not of been given.
