observer
Intersting Asp; that the pundits are now even speculating that the bale out of Ireland, Portugal, Spaim and the Greek basket case; could spell the end of the EU dream - let's hope so. Bazj
Let's hope so indeed..... of course the rules state that Ireland cannot be forced to take the money, however the EU seem more concerned that if they don't take it, it may well wreck Spain, Greece Portugal etc. I would reckon that Ireland will be forced to take the money regardless of what they say because that is the bullying way the EU works.... look at the previous referendum results to proove that one! observer
It's got worse Baz: Ozzy Osbourne is offering to bale them out with UK funds, as our Banks are over exposed in Ireland's debt; this, despite the fact that the Euro zone has a fund (and a responsibility), as well as the contingency held by the EU. But, as Georgie says - "we're all in it together"!
asperity
Its all about control. Ireland want to get through the crisis using their own resources. The EU masters (France and Germany) want Ireland to accept the help being "offered" to them so that they will be in hock to the EUSSR to such an extent they will toe the line for the forseeable future. If you look at the press reports the Irish are downplaying the problems but the Germans in particular are trying to frighten the markets by talking the problems up. As for the UK, we are the cash cow as usual. Lets get out of this fraudulent union.

Lt Kije
A touch of paranoia going on here British banks bought crap dept of the Irish banks, If the Irish banks go down they will take the UK banks with them, Mr Osbourne has no choice but to help the Irish out. The propaganda about Germany is just that propaganda, Goebbels himself would have been proud of it.
observer
One can hear the faint laughter from Adolf and Co, issuing from the depths of Hell - and no doubt Adolf is thinking, why didn't I think of doing it that way?!
