observer
Does this mean my old Beatles LPs are worth something?
Evil Sid
not really just means the surviving members are getting down to their last few million and need to top up the pension fund
Mary
I do not think that the surviving members will get much for the songs released - as they do not own the rights to anything done while Brian Epstein was their Manager. He had control over the financial end of it and that was sold to Micheal Jackson many years ago. Then he sold those rights to the APPLE executive - who is now releasing them again. But they may be getting something for their effort - not too sure.
Guest tonymailman
The music from 30, 40 and 50 years ago will ALWAYS be brought back around every so often (even though it never has gone away) ......... they just re-launch it because it was quality ... unlike the tripe that's being churned out nowadays. Mary
HAHA - tripe being churned out nowadays? I like music - doesn't matter what era; it is so easy to be narrow minded.
Guest tonymailman
So people who like quality are narrow minded ?? name me an artist/band nowadays who can even be mentioned in the same sentence as those from the 50's, 60's or 70's ?? and who can actually perform live and not just in a mixing studio .........
