karltt
Spoke to Paul during the game and he confirmed he was currently running with nine first team injuries at the moment. Had a discussion with another town regular and we both agree we are better than we were this team last season, even though the league position does not suit the ambitions of the team this season. I can see that when we have a fully fit team we will be a force to be reckoned with this season and certainly think we can acheive a promotion spot this season. Having looked at the few of the opposition team this season, not one of them has either played us off the park or played any better football than we can play with a fully fit squad. So hopefully come another month or so our season will finally get going and start playing the promising and entertaining football we played at bamber bridge. What do you think
Peter T
I agree. once the injuries are back, it will be Rock and Roll time. People just have to be patient. There was a good article in the Mail today, with the new owners of City saying that they don't expect overnight success, and want to mix academy players with imports.[/b]
Gary
Warrington Wolves have been plauged by serious injuries for several seasons but it doesn't seem to make any diference with the fans - we must have a rare breed of supporter at Warrington Town FC! Peter T
Methinks that sport in general in Warrington needs it's profile raising, and hopefully, it's support will follow. The council seem to pay lip service to sport by supplying the grounds, but don't seem to actively encourage it. And the rugby supporters have been short-changed for years. Not all down to injuries, surely? Look how many years Cullen had to make a go of it. Town are just getting started.

I'm doing my best Peter! No-one disputes that. I am talking about the general apathy, NOT individual efforts. I sometimes wonder whether it is a Warrington thing.
