another town Fan Posted August 16, 2008 Report Share Posted August 16, 2008 well done Town, great at the back and with the chances crossing from the wing we just need to put a few in, but one will do for today. 3 points is a good start, there has been many a game we have come away with nothing when we deseved points, lets hope we can come back frm our away games with points in the bag. carry on with the wins. We are (joint) TOP of the league!!! The official attendance was 153 but I reckon there were well over 200 in the ground in the second half after the side gate was opened at half time! We also let anyone under 16 in free and there were quite a lot of youngsters in the ground. Considering the holiday season and only 20 from Salford not a bad start.
