Evil Sid Posted August 9, 2023 Report Share Posted August 9, 2023 it was the harsware change that has caused the problem. the windows 10 that is on the hard drive was for the old motherboard and chipset and so will not activate with the new board meaning i will have to reload windows 10. it was activated with the windows 7 product key but will need to reinstall windows 10 and try again. so much to do though at present so might well be a few weeks or more before i get round to it.
