Davy51
It seems that in the wake of the twin towers atrocity a 28 page dossier has been suppressed by American factions that could implicate Saudi Arabia to varying degrees of involvement in the outrage. When you couple that with perceived sympathy of some factions in Saudi towards IS you have to wonder what strange fellows the west is in bed with. Add to that the dodgy dossier that did for Iraq & Saddam & fragmented the middle east & you have to wonder what the Dickens America is up to. observer
The US military -industrial complex depends on the arms race; in order to motivate politicians to keep spending on the largest military budget in the world, you need an enemy - thus the political chess game with Russia and China goes on. Meanwhile, our staunch ally Saudi Arabia, with the oil money to buy our latest military products, pursues a stealthy policy of sectarian expansion. Freeborn John
The Cornyn Schumer bill is going through the Senate right now, an act which will allow the US families of victims of terrorism to sue any state which supported and enabled the terrorists, for some strange reason Saudi Arabia is trying to sabotage this bill by hook or by crook and is actually threatening economic reprisals if it goes through. How odd.
Davy51
There was a tv programme on a few weeks ago that suggested wahabbism , a muslim splinter religion & Saudi by origin was the cradle of the IS doctrine.
observer
They funded ISIL unofficially, as they supported the Sunni uprising in Syria against Assad. They fund their extreme sectarian propaganda in Muslim schools in the UK, and offered to build 80 Mosques in Germany. So it's not difficult to see where they're coming from or where they're going. Fortunately, the oil revenues have taken a dip, so they've now got economic problems.
