Bazj Posted July 4, 2014 Report Share Posted July 4, 2014 Went to Italy in February and everywhere you go; on every public building, there is an Italian flag and an EU flag.... of course they are pro-EU and pro-UK involvement.... they would have to stick their hands in their pockets for all the poor Eastern European countries to leech off to make up any shortfall because of Britain leaving. I would imagine that if you think there are currently only about 5 net contributors and 22 net takers; if Britain left and they lost our money there would be an awful lot more countries having to contribute to the pot (over 50% I would guess) so it must be in their interests not to want us to leave Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
