dippy_jayne
Saw this film for the first time last night! Harrowing, is the only description I can suggest. It is about Ireland, and girls, Catholic ones at that, who had children out of wedlock, and those that were seen as temptresses. Sad beyond belief. Its the Parents that should have been locked away, for subjecting the girls to THAT! Seems it is common practice today. Maybe, they should show this film for educational purposes. It was an education to me! Jayne x [ 30.10.2005, 21:00: Message edited by: dippy_jayne ]

Geoff Settle
Aren't they the ones that Joni Mitchelle gave her daughter up to?
Peter T
Religion has a lot to answer for. As you say, it was an eye-opener. Perhaps we, as people are unaware of what goes on around us because we are to caught up in our own lives.
