WARRINGTON Town FC are rewarding their season ticket holders with a special offer to bring a friend to a game for just £1 to help increase the club's growing fan base.

The club is also extending the offer to all season ticket holders of other football clubs and their Rugby League neighbours Warrington Wolves, who will be able to gain admission to the next two home league games for just £1 on production of their season tickets.

Warrington aim to build on the success of their opening league game of the season against Curzon Ashton which attracted a gate of more than 300 - double the average home league gate.

Chairman Gary Skentelbery said: "We want to say a big thank you to our existing season ticket holders by giving them a chance to bring a friend to our next two home games for just £1 admission per game.

"We also realise a lot of people in Warrington have already invested in supporting other football teams around the North West and want to give them an opportunity to come along to Cantilever Park and see what we have got to offer.

"To take this football club up the league pyramid we need to attract at least 300 paying spectators on a regular basis.

"We know there are literally thousands of football fans out there in Warrington and if we can start to pick up some new supporters it will help us take the club forward."

The offer is also being extended to Warrington Wolves' season ticket holders.

"The Wolves have brought a lot of sporting success to the town and we want to build on that. Many Wolves' fans are also football supporters so we would like them to come and support their local team."

The £1 admission offer extends to friends of existing Warrington Town season ticket holders and season ticket holders of other football clubs in the area and Warrington Wolves' season ticket holders. Simply show your season ticket on the gate.

The offer is available for the home league game with Garforth, this Saturday, kick off 3pm and Prescot Cables next Tuesday, kick off 7.45pm.

Admission is FREE to all children aged 12 and under and for Warrington Collegiate and Priestley College students and Warrington Borough Transport saver card holders.
