Geoffrey Settle
Has anyone been in the new bakery in Stockton Heath yet I went for a meal in a near by restaurant last week mentioning no names and walked by. It looked very nice - but are the China cakes good to eat Apologies I'm trying to skillfully get around the WWW adverstising rules and regs but I'm sure that Dizzy or Pete will put me right. Jerry
Cakes from Chinese bakeries in Los Angeles are delicious, just not as much sugar in them. Come to think of it, there's a chain of bakeries that are Filipino -- called Goldilocks -- again not so much sugar and frosting. Korean bakeries where I live feature cakes with whipped creme instead of frosting with fresh nuggets of fruits in the whipped cream.
Geoffrey Settle
See it takes Good Old Jerry in the USA to appreciate the Chiese Bakery in Stockton Heath - as soon as I can get clearance from the authorities i.e. Gary I will head south for a tatse of the Orient.
