Wingnut
Concerning the very sad fate of Carl Chadwick. Since reading about the tragic circumstances on the Home Page, I have been wondering why Carl was homed in the area that he was living in, in the first place? And I think I'm right in saying that Carl was a "Vulnerable Adult". Yes he had friends who loved and looked after him. But should the council be more selective on where they house people like Carl? Surely some form of sheltered accomodation would have been a wiser choice.
fugtifino
I think I know why you're asking, Wingy, but it looks like Carl was doing very nicely until the murderer turned up. I think that's who's to blame here, not any of the services.
Wingnut
I wasn't looking to blame anybody Fugs. There are people who are a lot more vulnerable than Carl living in that area and areas like it. I just think it is the wrong place for them to be housed if they are to live by themselves. Peter T
Fair point, but Grasmere is not as bad as it used to be, so I am led to believe.
