wolfie
Just tried to trace a Recorded Delivery on the Royal Mail website. Input my tracking number and found out that 'Recorded Delivery's can only be tracked once they have been delivered' So I can track when the recorded delivery moves from my front door to the kitchen or living room. Dizzy
It's nonsense isn't it Not to mention that people are supposed to SIGN for delivery of recorded items and a lot of the time they are not asked too, therefore it does not show up as delivered. We had a recorded delivery cheque for a large amount of money left at a completely different business address, without having been signed for by anyone.. we tried to find out where it was but there was NO RECORD ...... luckily the 'receiver' was very honest and passed it on to us. The tracking service for parcels/couriers though is pretty good and you can see the time it left, arrived at the depot, left the depot, where it is now and when it should arrive.
