He said 'thankfully god brought me back home but there are many more still out there who wont be as lucky as me' ... his following words also really stuck in my mind : 'When a soldier goes to heaven To St. Peter he will tell just another soldier reporting sir as I've served my time in hell' So tomorrow I will once again wear my poppy with pride and salute and remember all those who have sadly lost their lives and will salute and remember all those who are still out there and who's lives will hopefully be spared Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
