Development Plate Winners 2007 Crosfield Cobras u12s have just finished their second season as North West Counties Development Plate winners after beating Woolston in a tense and thrilling final in Blackpool on Sunday 6 points to 4. The cobras side spent their first season on the end of some large defeat but all credit to this bunch of 18 young men they have stuck together through thick and thin and shown some real commitment to their team and sport by training 3 times a week in every weather without fail. This season through that hard work the team has put together some very good victories playing rugby league that the crowds at the HJ would be pleased to watch. The team are currently embarking on their fund raising year which see?s them raising funds for 12 months and then going away on tour for a week to Scotland to represent Warrington and Crosfields by playing games against their Scottish counterparts as well as taking part in team building and life skills exercises. Organising and funding such an event takes a lot of hard work and dedication from a team of volunteers and to that point we are asking businesses in Warrington if they would be good enough to support us with a small donation towards our tour fund and we are also looking for a kit sponsor to advertise across the front of our kits.
