Mary Posted August 1, 2009 Report Share Posted August 1, 2009 A mother has told of how youths threw bleach into her face and left her with damage to her sight after she asked them to be quiet in a cinema. The 46-year-old woman was attacked in a restaurant in Leeds in front of her husband and two children after she asked the group of teenagers to stop making noise during the Harry Potter film. The woman confronted the group after they began talking loudly and sending text messages. After the film one of the group shouted abuse at her from a car, while she walked to a Frankie & Benny's restaurant with her family. Two of the youths then entered the restaurant and threw bleach over the woman's head. Police described the attack on Sunday evening as "particularly vicious" and "pre-meditated". The mother was treated in hospital for burns and is still being assessed to discover if the damage to her eyes is permanent. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
