Geoffrey Settle
Despite a fantastic package to Manage Warrington Town FC, BBC's Football pundit and ex-England captain has decided to accept Mike Ashley's offer to manage Newcastle United until the end of the season. The Newcastle's Chronicle broke the news early this morning just after they have fought off a bid themselves from Warrington's Worldwide CEO and Chief Executive of Warrington Town, Gary Skentelbery. His family's media empire has expanded beyond belief in Chesire and now they have turned their attention to the North East of England. Indiana James their international archaeologist and Channel 4 Time Team favourite would have been inviting Tony Robinson begin excavations during the summer when the pitch will be re-laid as there were rumours that St James?s Park is the site of the first ever football ground in the UK with potential Roman connections. This revelation is a major discovery that the Footballing world is keen to explore. At this moment in tme no one from WWW was available for comment. Ian
Hi Geoff, I`m holding my breath on this one as it is April 1st. However, if true I hope it ignites some passion back into the team and gets them out of the relegation zone. Ian
Bazj
It must be true this one though. As the majority of Geoffs posts are utter guff, at least once a year he may actually post something sensible.... and maybe this is it!!??
Geoffrey Settle
What can I say? The rumours from Ashley have NOT been denied by the Media Moguls at the New Media Centre off Knutsford Road Was it a BBC camera crew that I saw camped outside their building last night and who knows what other Premier interest Gary is generating at this moment in time.
