Geoffrey Settle
Alan Stanford and his millions has brought yet another run on banks, especially in the Caribean and stumped English Cricket - what a million dollar con man. Was the man at the top of Cricket to blame or was it simply too big a prize that couldn't be refused?
DS
I was suspicious of this guy from the start - now it seems that in addition to trying to ruin cricket he has ruined lots of people who trusted him with their money. Anyone know how he got his "sir"?
observer
Because cricket, like other sports; has ceased to be "a sport" and is now "a buisiness" - RIP.
Paul Kennedy
Alan Stanford and his millions Think you'll find Geoff that they are not his millions/billions.
Geoffrey Settle
Paul I think they are having trouble finding Allen himself let alone the billions people have invested in his company. I believe as well that he has tried to claim Stanford Unviversity as his families. He definitley has lived the life of Riley. However his flexible friend has let him down and he couldn't book a flight out of the USA.
Paul Kennedy
If what I read is true Geoff, the mexican drug cartels will find him....and I think that they might use a bit more than a cricket bat on him....then again with a sense of irony that is exactly what they might use.
