observer Posted February 13, 2009 Report Share Posted February 13, 2009 Well we complain about congestion on the roads, but it seems with 14,000 satelites whizzing round the planet at twice the speed of a bullet; we have a bit of a congestion problem up there. Two have just crashed, which has brought on the realisation that any manned space vehicle launched from earth, could risk a similar crash - perhaps a new career for scrap merchants - in space?! demelzadoe Posted February 14, 2009 Report Share Posted February 14, 2009 There was a film, about a scrap metal dealer, Andy Griffith was the main character, he had exhaused the scrap metal business on earth and ventured into the unknown, can't remember the title of it, won't rest until I do.
