Agamemnon1
Thanks Peter You beat me to it Its at the rear of the Hawthorn Centre ,Orange Grove , Parking available opposite St Bridgets School and its short walk to the event. It looks like it will be a chilly night so wrap up warmly. There will be side stalls a bar-B-Q and the return of Mr Fun "Barrington" who will be providing the entertainment for young and old alike. Free Entry ! This event is brought to you by Blackbrook Community Association. Please do not bring your own fireworks . Thank You.
Agamemnon1
Your correct Steve 10/10 for observation, There are many reasons why displays are mostly held at weekends Most folk are not impressed with a fireworks display in the middle of the working week, Its the closest Saturday to the 5th thus allowing plenty of time Sunday to return and double check and clear the site. Volunteer availabilty. Venue availability. Just to name a few .
Geoffrey Settle
Last year's display was the best that I have been to in my 21 years. I think that there was a high cloud base last year which gave a great backdrop to the colourful fireworks.
