Moffat Posted June 7, 2007 Report Share Posted June 7, 2007 I'm Mary Jane Moffat, I, and my older brother Ken Moffat, attended Evelyn St School, am looking for old classmates: Stanley Morris, Brian Fitzgerald, Barby Thornber, Valerie Dutton, Marilyn Ryder, Stella and Ann, as I'll be visiting this Autumn, from the USA (Oregon). I lived at 240 Liverpool Rd 1954-59 and then moved to Hemel Hempstead, at age 11 never to return. (I really missed Warrington but we had no family there so mum and dad weren't interested in taking me back.)Also would love to talk to anyone that remembers the neighborhood Guy Fawkes bonfire at Ashotts Backs, the Stinking Brok, Mrs. Summerfield's treacle toffee, etc... I stopped by 30 years ago and couldn't find anything-- it had all be raized. The old school is actually still there, and from the web pictures looks pretty much the same. Davy51 Posted June 8, 2007 Report Share Posted June 8, 2007 Hello there,i was there for some of the time you were,about 2 years then we moved to Orford Lane area.Originally lived 64 Liverpool Rd.(between the Ship & Billy Lightfoot's bike shop).I think i may be a couple of years younger than you though.
