Egbert Posted April 25, 2008 Report Share Posted April 25, 2008 Just been to the Post Office in Golden Square and found, to my horror, that "North West Fashion Week" was in full swing. I'll make no comment about the fashion because I didn't stop long enough to see it, but surely to God we don't have to accept the thunderous beat music that was playing most of the time I was in the Post Office. I don't know whether it brought in any extra business but did no-one consider the staff working in the adjacent shops. If the "music" played when I was there was typical of what was played the rest of the time, all shopworkers in the Old Market Place part of Golden Square will surely suffer hearing problems for weeks to come, in not permanent hearing damage.
