observer
Yet another celeb, an MP found not guilty of historic accusations. With a dented reputation and a £100,000 legal bill; is it time the Public Prosecution Service was held liable for such costs, to deter them from pursuing such cases? Bazj
Yes..... I mean one of the supposed victims in the case who was supposedly raped by this man, actually told the police that he had got out of bed and then got back in again 3 times during the night!!! The CPS has been unfit for purpose for the past 30 years and the justice system is suffering because of it.... but to be perfectly honest, I don't know why they actually bother to try anyone these days as sentences now are a total waste of time anyway
grey_man
Quite possibly, but it's a shame it has to happen to an MP before it matters to them.
