Davy51
Curious as to the benefits of the recently touted government Green Homes Grant 2020 ,i have been reading through the splurge. There are so many restrictions & conditions that anybody who qualifies will get just about enough help to buy a newspaper with which to block the draughty gaps in their windows & doors. There is a primary category that covers insulation related matters & a secondary stage that covers the more expensive stuff like double glazing ,which will only be allowed under the grant if it is replacing single glazing. On top of that , any secondary expenditure will only be funded to the same extent as the remedial work done in the first category. Indeed, far from being a "grant" ,any money allowed is actually a loan which will be attached to your energy payments.
asperity
I would treat anything with "Green" in its name with a healthy dose of scepticism.
