WW1 Records FREE to View Online until 13th Nov

Just thought I'd mention.....

 

www.ancestry.co.uk have FREE access to WWI Service Records, Pension Records and Medal Index Cards from 10th-13th November.

 

It does say you need to register with your name and email address but as I have an account with them anyway I don't know what else is involved other than they are FREE TO VIEW for 3 days.

 

Well worth looking through if any of you ancestors were in WW1 as it shows the actual hand written records and you can print or screen dump them :wink:

 

If you get stuck pm me as it can be a bit hard to find things if you are not familiar with how to search on there as you can finish up with hundreds of 'possibilities' if you are not careful :wink:
