Dizzy Posted November 10, 2011 Report Share Posted November 10, 2011 Just thought I'd mention..... www.ancestry.co.uk have FREE access to WWI Service Records, Pension Records and Medal Index Cards from 10th-13th November. It does say you need to register with your name and email address but as I have an account with them anyway I don't know what else is involved other than they are FREE TO VIEW for 3 days. Well worth looking through if any of you ancestors were in WW1 as it shows the actual hand written records and you can print or screen dump them If you get stuck pm me as it can be a bit hard to find things if you are not familiar with how to search on there as you can finish up with hundreds of 'possibilities' if you are not careful Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
