Geoffrey Settle
Managed to see my first Brimstone this afternoon at the Rixton Nature Reserve. Lovely yellow and when two whites came along it chased after them and they produced an acrobatic display that the red arrows would have been proud of. Also flying around were Peacock Butterflies, a couple of Gatekeepers, Red Admiral, Speckled Wood, Numerous whites small & Large. However there were nowhere near as many as last year when they were everywhere, hundreds of them.
Wingnut
A good photo Geoff, and a nice piece of Vetch for it to feed on.
