Yvonne Shannon
During the 1940's I had a penpal named Lillian Daniels. We corresponded for a few years, then lost touch. She lived at 8 Dean Crescent, Longford, Warrington, Lancashire, England. Does anyone remember her or can anyone tell me how I find out who lives at that address now. My maiden name was Yvonne Wilkinson.

Legion
Deans crescent has been traditionaly (uptil the 90s right to buy) part of the Longford, mainly council estate, it was very run down in the 70s/80s which as I recall, the council moved most people out to renovate most of that area and Densham Avenue. unfortunately, they moved worse people back in shortly after and it quyickly became worse than it ever was...not sure what its like now. Ian Entwistle
I have worked around that area in many peoples homes, and can't imagine anyone who lived there in your time, living there now. Unfortunately the area is really run down to the extent that drugs and thugs seem to be the only regular presence there. My friend lived off Densham, in Armour Ave. and I watched the area become dilapidated during a period of time over two decades. Sorry I cant be of more help other than to say that if you would like photos of the area I will gladly take them and send them in an E-mail so that you dont think that everyone is merely painting a bleak picture.
