observer Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 Most economic experts believe we will go through a period of recession, Governments will tighten up on regulation of the finance sector, but the greed and speculation that caused the recent financial crisis will return. Similarly, in politics, with Political Parties seeking to gain an electoral advantage from reforms to Party funding, we have an impasse in Parliament - with New Labour sucking up to the City and now Wavy Davy and Co sucking up to Russian Oligarchs and Lord Ashcroft for donations; it seems they are totally incapable of self management - thus no change for the better.
